Made of Solid Brass - be aware of the different metals used to produce urns. Solid Brass is durable and heavy - therefore a far more superior metal than other metal alloys. This urn has a threaded screw top lid. This urn can be buried and will remain intact.
Featuring a beautiful silvery finish, our Althorp urn for ashes features an intricately engraved design of doves in flight on a backdrop of flowering vines. The symbolism of the dove makes this a particularly special resting place for a loved one. Carrying the meaning of peace, hope and purity, the dove also mates for life, making it a sign of devotion and love as well. Our Althorp urn is hand cast from solid brass, and hand finished in silver and sky blue chrome. Ashes can be safely stored in this cremation urn thanks to a threaded secure lid. If you’d like, we also have a range of matching keepsake urns for holding a small, token amount of ashes. These can be perfect if you’d like other close family members to also have a memorial to treasure.
